The Rainbow Creed
This is a spiritual article of faith for all LGBT people of all faiths and kinds. Living the LGBT lifestyle shall be part of our shared and universal faith.
We believe in living the LGBT lifestyle, sex-positivity, LGBT being, and LGBT expression
1. For all ages: we believe in:
i. Freedom from Conversion Therapy and not being subject to Conversion Therapy: Conversion Therapy is defined as any practice or method, including but not limited to prayer, “counseling”, electrical-shocks, medicines or substances that induce nausea; that:
a. Attempts to change a person’s “behavior” from “LGBT behavior” to “straight-heterosexual behavior”, b. Or attempts to change an LGBT person into a cisgender-heterosexual person, c. Or attempts to convince an LGBT person that their being, “LGBT behavior”, or “LGBT lifestyle” is immoral, d. Or attempts to deny a transgender person the means of transitioning to their chosen gender (HRT and Puberty Blockers included), the means to express their gender identity, etc, e. Or attempts to deny a non-binary/gender fluid person the right or means to express their chosen gender identity. f. Or attempts to mutilate, castrate, or sterilize an intersex person or infant, g. Or attempts to cause pain or attempts any form of sexual torture.
ii. Transgender people transitioning to their desired gender and all people expressing themselves in their desired gender.
iii. Homosexuals being attracted to the same sex and bisexuals being attracted to any sex.
iv. Making, wearing, using, and selling LGBT-themed stories, media, writings, art, clothing, and other forms of LGBT expression.
v. Seeking, obtaining, retaining, giving, and expressing Information on safe-sex, abortion and contraception, suicide prevention, and affirming and accepting being LGBT.
vi. Engaging in pro-LGBT activism as well as activism for racial justice, for supporting sex-workers, and other innocent and marginalized people and groups.
vii. Being sex-positive and not being ashamed of sexualities and gender identity.
viii. The right to not engage in sexual acts against are will (includes Conversion Therapy in any form).
ix. Using, creating, storing, selling, and providing mechanisms, data, code, and applications that facilitate secure communications and data security that has no unreliable encryption or back doors, escrows, on-device-image-scanning, etc.
x. Being private, anonymous, and secure both online and offline.
xi. Keeping our passwords, credentials, private lives, and secrets to ourselves when desired.
xii. The free access and expression of information
xiii. In defending ourselves and our flight to live and exist in peace and stability.
2. For adults only: we believe in:
i. When desired by the adult(s) in question:
I. Marriage between at least two consenting adult individuals, II. Marital, intimate, romantic, and sexual relationships between consenting adults, III. Sexual activities between oneself and/or with other consenting adults, IV. Producing, storing, owning, selling, and providing media in any form from videos to photos to art to writing, that exhibits sensual, intimate, pornographic, obscene, and/or sexual activity involving consenting adult(s), V. Producing, storing, owning, selling, and providing objects or items that are sexual in nature given they pertain to adults, VI. Having adult-only spaces where adult and sexual activities between consenting adults take place, VII. Expressing phrases that may be seen as obscene to others, VIII. Dressing in ways that may seem obscene to others, including wearing short shirts, crop-tops, etc. while not revealing genitals in general public, IX. Expressing sexuality in private events and spaces, on public websites, and on social media with other consenting adults.
3. These are our Holy Ordinances and our rights given to us by our Creator. We shall fulfil them and live sex-positive lives.
